한양대학교 Residential College 센터 글로벌 하우스에서는 2023년 5월 31일(수) 오후 1시 창의인재원 교육관 205호에서 한 학기 글로벌 하우스 활동을 마무리하는 수료식이 진행되었다.
글로벌 하우스 수료식은 RC 마스터 강창욱 교수의 개회사로 시작되었고 고채린 연구원이 진행을 맡아 한 학기동안의 활동사진을 보며 지난 시간들을 돌아보는 시간을 가졌다. 이후 강창욱 교수의 호명으로 글로벌 하우스 참여자들이 수료증을 건네받은 후 개인별 기념사진 촬영과 단체 사진 촬영을 찍고 수료식이 마무리되었다. 이후 학생들은 RC 센터에서 준비한 점심을 함께 먹으면서 글로벌 하우스에 참여자들과 어울리는 시간을 가졌다. 한 학생은 글로벌 하우스 활동이 자신의 교환학생 생활에서 떼어놓을 수 없는 활동이라며 값진 한 학기를 보낼 수 있었다는 말을 전했다. 지난 학기에 이어 이번 학기에도 참여한 학생은 글로벌 하우스를 통하여 지난 학기에 사귄 한국인 학생과 지금까지도 인연을 이어오고 있다며 다음 학기 또한 참여할 것이라는 말을 남겼다.
On May 31st, 2023 (Wednesday), the Global House at Hanyang University's Residential College Center held a Completion Ceremony. The ceremony took place in Room 205 of the Residential College Center building at 1:00 PM.
The ceremony began with an opening speech by RC Master Professor Chang-wook Kang, followed by an event led by researcher Chae-rin Ko, where participants reflected on past moments while looking at activity photos from the semester. Afterwards, under the calling of Professor Chang-wook Kang, the Global House participants received their completion certificates. They then took individual and group photos to commemorate the occasion, marking the end of the ceremony. Following that, the students enjoyed lunch together, prepared by the RC Center, while socializing with fellow Global House participants. One student expressed that Global House activities were an indispensable part of their study abroad experience, and they were grateful for the valuable semester they had spent. Another student, who had participated in both the previous and current semesters, shared that through the Global House, they had maintained connections with Korean students they had met in the previous semester and continued their relationship to this day. They also expressed their determination to participate in the Global House in the upcoming semester.
