한양대학교 ERICA Residential College 센터에서는 지난 학기에 특강을 맡았던 정윤진 메이크업 아티스트의 K-뷰티 메이크업 특강을 2023년 9월 14일(월) 오전 10시, 오후 2시에 창의인재원 교육관 205호에서 진행하였다. 이번 특강은 메이크업에 대한 지식이 있는 학생들과 없는 학생을 구분하여 신청을 받았으며 메이크업에 대한 경험이 있는 학생들은 본인의 파우치를 준비해와 강사님이 준비해온 한국 메이크업 제품을 이용하여 메이크업 시연을 보고 따라하는 형식으로 진행되었다.
먼저 사전에 받은 메이크업에 대한 질문과 고민에 대해 이야기를 나누었다. 그 후 메이크업의 기초와 퍼스널 컬러에 대한 설명을 들었다. 그리고 메이크업 시연을 보며 자신의 퍼스널 컬러에 맞는 제품을 선택하여 학생들이 직접 메이크업했다. 학생들은 이번 특강을 통해 평소 관심 있던 한국의 메이크업 제품들을 미리 사용해볼 수 있어서 좋았고 제품을 바르는 방식이나 메이크업 브러쉬 사용법에 대해서도 자세히 알 수 있어서 실질적인 도움이 되었다는 소감을 전했다.
The K-Beauty Makeup Class took place in Room 205 of the Residential College Center building for a duration of 2 hours, starting at 10 AM & 2 PM on September 14nd. The class was led by makeup artist Yoon-jin Jeong, who previously gave a special lecture last semester. Applications were open to students with varying levels of makeup knowledge, and those with prior experience were requested to bring their own makeup pouches. During the class, Korean makeup products provided by the instructor were utilized for demonstration and hands-on practice.
The session began with a discussion addressing pre-collected questions and concerns related to makeup. Following that, a comprehensive explanation was given on the fundamentals of makeup and personal color analysis. Subsequently, students observed a makeup demonstration and selected suitable Korean cosmetics based on their personal color to apply makeup on their own. The students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to try out Korean makeup products they had been curious about. They also found the lecture beneficial in terms of learning application techniques and proper use of makeup brushes.
