한양대학교 ERICA Residential College 센터 글로벌 하우스에서는 소방안전교육을 경기소방재난본부 소속 손춘용 강사의 진행으로 2023년 3월 14일(화) 오후 3시부터 창의인재원 교육관 205호에서 진행하였다. 이번 교육은 글로벌 하우스 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 생활 속 발생할 수 있는 응급 상황에 대한 대처능력 향상을 위한 심폐소생술(CPR) 교육을 실시했다.
안전교육에 참여한 모든 학생이 한 번씩 실습을 진행하여, 심정지 등과 같은 위급상황에서 확실하게 대응할 수 있도록 교육했다. 또한, 주변에 도움을 받을 사람이 없는 상황에서 본인이 위급상황에 처했을 때의 대처방안 또한 교육을 통해 알 수 있었다. 한 학생은 살면서 도움이 될 심폐소생술 교육을 글로벌 하우스 활동을 통해 배우고 실습할 수 있어서 좋았다는 소감을 남겼다.
The First Aid & CPR Training, conducted by Instructor Chun-yong Son from the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters, took place on March 14th (Tuesday) from 3 PM in Room 205 of the Residential College Center building. This training aimed to enhance the ability of international students in the Global House to respond to emergency situations that may arise in their daily lives, specifically focusing on CPR training.
All students who participated in the safety education had the opportunity to practice CPR at least once, ensuring that they can respond effectively in critical situations such as cardiac arrest. Furthermore, through education, they learned about the actions to take when facing an emergency situation without immediate assistance. One student expressed their appreciation for being able to learn and practice CPR, which would be helpful in their life, through the activities at the Global House.
