한양대학교 ERICA Residential College 센터는 2025년 5월 21일(수) 오후 1시부터 학술정보관 뒤편 잔디공터에서 RC 활동 참여 학생을 비롯한 교내 구성원을 대상으로 “Better Together Picnic” 행사를 개최하였습니다. 사전 신청은 구글 폼을 통해 접수하였으며, 신청 학생에게는 피크닉 매트를 대여하고 간단한 식음료를 제공하였습니다. 내국인과 외국인 학생이 함께 즐길 수 있도록 투호, 제기차기, 림보 등 다양한 미니게임을 준비하였고, 모든 게임에 참여해 도장을 모은 학생에게는 추첨을 통해 경품을 증정하는 이벤트를 진행하였습니다. 또한 실을 교차해 묶어 서로에게 선물하는 ‘소원 팔찌’ 만들기 부스를 운영하여 학생들에게 추억을 선사하였습니다. 이 외에도 RC센터 인스타그램 계정을 태그하는 스토리 이벤트 등 여러 홍보 프로그램을 마련하였습니다.
참가자들은 이번 피크닉을 통해 학기 중 여유롭게 야외 활동을 즐기고, 미니게임을 통해 새로운 친구를 사귀며 다양한 문화권의 학생들과 교류할 수 있어 만족스럽다고 소감을 전하였습니다.
On Wednesday, 21 May 2025, starting at 1 p.m., Hanyang University’s ERICA Residential College Center hosted the “Better Together Picnic” on the lawn behind the Academic Information Center. Pre-registration was completed through a Google Form, and each participant received a rented picnic mat along with light refreshments. To encourage interaction among domestic and international students, the organizers arranged several mini-games—such as tuho, jegichagi and limbo—and offered raffle prizes to those who collected stamps by completing every activity. A wish-bracelet booth invited participants to weave threads into bracelets and exchange them as keepsakes, while additional promotions, including an Instagram story-tag event, further enlivened the atmosphere.
Students remarked that the picnic allowed them to relax outdoors despite their busy schedules, meet new friends through the games and enjoy meaningful exchanges with peers from various cultural backgrounds.
